Cancellations +

We require a credit card on file for all appointment reservations. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking unless you "no show" your appointment or cancel/reschedule within 24 hours.

If you need to reschedule an appointment, we require a 24-hour notice. In the event that you would need to reschedule or alter your appointment in any way for a non-emergency-related reason after the 24 hour mark has passed, you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service cost. This policy is set in place to honor the time of our stylists. Thank you for helping us to uphold a great experience for our guests and our team at The Mae.

"No shows" will be charged 100% of their scheduled service. Please, also, be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled for and a cancelation fee will apply. As an appointment-based business, we appreciate your understanding and support of this company policy.

Covid +

Please stay home and reschedule your appointment if you or anyone in your household are feeling sick. This includes runny nose, cough, fever, any cold symptoms. Please take even mild symptoms seriously out of respect for our customers, stylists, and business. We appreciate your commitment to keeping our community safe. If you or anyone in your household is waiting for Covid-19 test results, please reschedule your appointment.

Payment Types +

We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Salon gift cards are also accepted for both services and retail.

Refunds +

We have a 30-day exchange policy. If you’re not completely satisfied with your product, we will happily provide a full refund within 7 days with receipt or, exchange it with receipt within the 30-day window. If you received a service that you are not happy with, please let us know within 7 days and we will try to re-book your correction within the first week, so we can make it right. We do not offer refunds on services.

Pets +

We would like to remind everyone that pets of any kind, other than service animals, are NOT allowed in the salon. The State Board of Cosmetology and The Board of Consumer Affairs have specific Rules and Regulations stating that NO animals of any kind are to be permitted in the salon at any time. Service dogs with the official "Service Animal" vests are the ONLY exception. Therapy dogs, emotional support dogs and/or companion dogs are not recognized as “Service Animals” according to The Board of Consumer Affairs. We invite you to speak with us about any questions or concerns regarding this state law.

Child Safety +

We LOVE family and children but, our space is not child-proof. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, please make sure to schedule child-care prior to your appointment. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to reschedule your service in order to maintain the safety of your child.

For the comfort and safety of our young clients, we kindly request that parents or guardians accompany children under the age of 15 during their service to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience.

Cell Phones +

We like to think of The Mae Salon as a haven for our clients to relax. We kindly ask that you try not to use your cell phone. However, if you need to take a quick call, please be considerate of those around you who are enjoying their service.
